I don’t tell stories to impress people. I tell them to connect with people. For most of my life, I chased happiness – through success, through approval, through anything that might numb the pain I carried inside. When I finally hit the bottom, I discovered something far more powerful than happiness: purpose. Since that day in 1999, I’ve been on a journey of faith, recovery, and relentless self-discovery. Along the way, I’ve built businesses, raised a family, stumbled, laughed, cried, and learned that real strength comes from vulnerability. Today, I share my story to help others find hope in theirs – because I believe every person has a comeback waiting inside them. Whether I’m speaking to a church, a business team, or a room full of people in recovery, my goal is always the same: to help them leave a little lighter, a little braver, and a little more in love with life.
